SkyLark Technology Inc. has become a supplier to Eurosport, the №1 Pan-European TV channel

The SkyLark Technology Company has become a supplier to Eurosport, the №1 Pan-European TV channel. On October 15 the companies finalized a new agreement on the delivery of a complete set of client-server software for three HD broadcasting systems for automatic advertising insertion into the programs broadcast in the various countries.

In 2014 it is planned to make an expansion to over 20 broadcasting systems. In the frame of the project SkyLark Technology will provide technical support during five years.

The full production cycle including automatic file import, playback and playlist editing is assured by SL NEO media servers of 3000 series configured as a set of "main + backup” servers in a configuration 2+2, working "on pass".

The source signal is sent to inputs of the video servers and the output signals are sent on air. Servers automatically substitute the signal on the input by a sequence of own files according to the schedule, or so-called to "the replacement playlist" triggered upon the synchronous command contained in SDI VANC.

The integration of SL NEO servers will be done in Paris by SkyLark Technology Inc. experts. Dell company was chosen as the supplier of server platforms and Matrox Electronic Systems was chosen as a supplier of input/output video cards. The project is realized with joint efforts of Eurosport and SkyLark Technology Inc. technical specialists.
