Multi-Viewer Client

The Multi-Viewer Client provides multi-screen management for signals arriving from the inputs of all SL NEO servers in the local network, and for signals generating channels for SL NEO server broadcasts.

This permits the facilitation of visual management of all inputs and signals being generated in multi-screen mode with the possibility of full-screen viewing of one selected channel online with sound. Both the server itself and some network work stations may be managed simultaneously.

Even if there is no recording on a disk at the moment, the SL NEO Recorder module facilitates constant coding and low-flow transmission to the network of signals entering the server inputs. The Multiscreen client application sends queries to servers, accepts flows from the SL NEO Recorder, and displays them on the monitor of a client PC in the form of small preview windows that change their image once per second.

During broadcasts, the SL NEO Player module also generates a low-flow transmission in the signal network for each broadcast channel. Multiscreen works in the same way with broadcast channels as it does with recording channels, and forms the corresponding preview windows. 

If the user wishes, any of the preview windows may be expanded to fill the entire screen and switched to online viewing mode. This technology was developed for user viewing of all input and output channels directly on their work PCs, and permits them, in many cases, to do without cumbersome racks with many monitors, plasma panels, and multi-screen processors. To prevent overloading the network, Multi-Viewer Client uses proxy profiles with a speed of no more than 1 Mbit/s.
