kvm.jpgSkyLark Technology offers SL NEO 6000 series servers, which record broadcasts and are capable of providing live broadcasts or recorded material via LAN/WAN for viewing and analysis on client PCs. 

The recording and monitoring technology is oriented toward use by various users: television broadcasters, ad agencies, political and informational/analysis organizations, special services, educational institutions, and so on. 

The SL NEO 6000 series servers use coding and broadcasting technology in the chain of signals arriving in the write input of all servers, which permits network clients to visually manage input signals in multiscreen mode on a PC monitor with the option of full-screen viewing of a chosen channel with sound.

The system works in cyclical recording mode, which allows the disk space to be used effectively. For each channel, a materials storage period is set (for example 90 days), at the end of which the media- and metadata are automatically deleted.

Archive materials become accessible for search, viewing, and editing 20 seconds after the beginning of the recording. A real-time search for materials according to basic attributes (date, broadcast time, channel, playlist event, text commentary) has been implemented. Frame-by-frame precision in viewing and navigation is provided for. 
SL NEO 6000 series servers can export selected materials or fragments of materials in the form of separate files, and can also export to DVD. 

Basic functions of broadcast recording complex based on the SL NEO 6000 series servers:

  • Automated recording of various types of Ultra HD/HD/SD signals: SDI/YCRCB/CVBS, SD/HD, 3/6/12G SDI with Embedded/AES/Analog Audio, SPTS/MPTS in ASI/IP, MPEG-2/Н.264 Streams;
  • Automated audio signal recording (for radio broadcasts);
  • Recording with various resolution parameters (Full Res/Proxy);
  • Export of AVI/MOV/MPG/VOB files, etc., with support of the majority of popular coder/decoder units;
  • Ability to superimpose the actual date and time of the recording on the image while exporting;
  • Management of media data in server archives, with search functions;
  • Collective, real-time editing of selected fragments from proxy copies, export to DVD;
  • Multiscreen monitoring of signals being recorded;
  • Combined, collective user operations when viewing materials with limited access rights to system resources, management of recording channels via a common simple, convenient user interface;
  • Generation of reports on major events (recording, data management, user activity).
