SL NEO SDI Router Controller

Broad SDI Router Protocol Support
Centralized Router Management
Manual and Automated Switching
Vendor-Agnostic Architecture
Centralized control for professional SDI routing infrastructures

Overview

SL NEO SDI Router Controller is a centralized, hardware-agnostic control platform for managing SDI video matrices in broadcast, studio, master control, and production environments. It provides a unified interface for controlling multiple routing systems from different manufacturers within a single workflow.

The platform supports manual switching, automated routing, preset-based control, REST API integration, and GPI/GPO triggers. Operators and external automation systems can perform precise source-to-destination switching without direct interaction with the underlying routing hardware.

As part of the SL NEO Media Platform, SDI Router Controller integrates with playout, ingest, monitoring, and failover workflows, providing a centralized control layer for baseband signal routing across small facilities and large multi-matrix infrastructures.

Integrated Ecosystem

SL NEO SDI Router Controller is fully integrated into the SL NEO Media Platform — a modular, software-defined environment where routing, playout, ingest, monitoring, and automation modules work together in real time.

Additional modules — including Capture Stream and Playout, Media Quality Control, Multiscreen, and the SL NEO Base Module — can be combined to build centralized signal-routing and broadcast-control workflows.

Capture Stream and Playout
For automated routing of signals between ingest, capture, and playout workflows
Media Quality Control
For signal monitoring, validation, and quality assurance
Multiscreen
For real-time visual monitoring of routed video and audio sources
SL NEO Base Module
For centralized system coordination, management, and control

Use Cases

Broadcast Studios
Route signals between cameras, production switchers, playout, recording, and monitoring systems from a centralized control interface.
Live Production
Quickly switch cameras, feeds, backup sources, and auxiliary paths during live events and studio production.
Redundancy & Failover
Automate switching between primary and backup signal paths to maintain continuous operation during source or equipment failures.
Post-Production & QC
Route SDI signals between editing, QC, monitoring, and ingest systems for flexible post-production and media-processing workflows.
