Overview

SL NEO Multiscreen is a software-based, highly configurable system for real-time multiview displays and signal monitoring, designed for broadcast, live production, OTT, and playout environments. It supports a broad range of input sources, including SDI, ASI, NDI, and Transport Streams over IP protocols such as ST 2110, UDP, and RTP. It also accommodates cloud-native sources, including RIST, SRT, Zixi, as well as OTT streaming formats like HLS and MPEG-DASH.
It is capable of rendering up to 52 video windows per screen and includes built-in audio monitoring, closed caption decoding, and advanced signal probing. The system actively detects QoE issues such as black frames, freeze frames, audio silence, and loudness deviations.
The system acts as a visual command center — whether deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or across distributed infrastructure.
SNMP support enables flexible configuration and centralized alarm management, while integrated Actions allow for automated responses — such as switching to backup feeds on signal loss using a configurable main/backup mode — helping ensure uninterrupted signal delivery.

This tool enables users to create, edit, save, copy, and load all configurations — including PIPs and multiviewer layouts — both locally and remotely from any computer in the network.

Display text information

Multiscreen can receive information from playlists in the Program Channel and Recorder modules and display it in the corresponding channel window (e.g., current clip, next clip).

Display additional information

It is possible to create separate PIPs with clocks, dates, and text using the built-in SL NEO Platform graphic designer.

Integrated Ecosystem
