SkyLark has released software version 2.12.17.107, bringing a set of workflow improvements across playout, media transfer, upload, export, and system administration tools.
The update introduces a new Social Networks export target for faster preparation of MP4/H.264 files with configurable output size limits. Transfer Manager has been enhanced with per-destination subfolder exclusion masks, destination-specific transfer conditions, and more flexible routing logic.
Upload Gateway now provides improved handling of audio-only and video-only files, along with a REST API and reference web interface for building controlled media upload and transcode workflows. The release also adds new AB Player end modes, clearer LDAP diagnostics, improved QC authentication, and extended support for external control devices, including JLCooper and X-keys controllers.
This release is focused on making everyday broadcast and media operations more flexible, reliable, and easier to manage across production, playout, and file-based workflows.
