SkyLark has expanded the capabilities of Transfer Manager, providing greater control over automated media distribution between production, playout, archive, and storage systems.
Transfer workflows can now use destination-specific transfer conditions, allowing different rules to be applied depending on where media is being delivered. This provides more flexibility when a single source needs to distribute content to multiple destinations with different operational requirements.
The update also introduces subfolder exclusion masks for individual destinations. Operators can define which folders or media locations should be excluded from specific transfer workflows without affecting other destinations.
These improvements make it possible to build more precise routing scenarios and reduce unnecessary file transfers, particularly in environments where multiple production systems, storage locations, and playout platforms share the same media infrastructure.
The enhanced routing functionality is designed to make Transfer Manager easier to adapt to complex broadcast and media workflows while maintaining centralized control over file movement.
