SkyLark has enhanced Transfer Manager with new diagnostic capabilities designed to simplify troubleshooting and improve the reliability of automated media processing workflows.
Administrators can now enable detailed debug logging when investigating a transfer-related issue. Logging can be switched on when required and disabled again without restarting the system.
This allows support and engineering teams to collect more detailed information about a specific workflow while minimizing the need to interrupt ongoing transfer operations.
Media conversion has also been improved with correct audio resampling to the target sample rate during processing.
When source and target audio sample rates differ, proper resampling is important for maintaining the expected duration and pitch of the resulting media. The updated conversion workflow handles this automatically as part of media processing.
These improvements strengthen Transfer Manager’s role in automated broadcast infrastructures where media is continuously moved, converted, and delivered between production, storage, archive, and playout systems.
By combining more detailed diagnostics with improved media conversion, SkyLark provides administrators with better tools for maintaining reliable file-based workflows and resolving operational issues when they occur.
